Bend over just a little bit more

Tiny Muskens, an outgoing bishop who is retiring in a few weeks from the southern diocese of Breda, said God doesn't care what he is called.

"Allah is a very beautiful word for God. Shouldn't we all say that from now on we will name God Allah? ... What does God care what we call him? It is our problem," Muskens told Dutch television.

"I'm sure his intentions are good but his theology needs a little fine-tuning," said Father Jonathan Morris, a Roman Catholic priest based in Rome. Morris, a news analyst for FOX News Channel, also called the idea impractical.

Where does this slope end, when will people grow a fucking backbone and call their god whatever the hell they want. I'm not even Christian but the idea of doing this boils my blood for the simple fact that once Christians have been completely subjugated by Muslims they will turn their focus to other faiths and eventually mine will come up on their radar. For that reason alone I feel very strongly that this attitude of appeasement is not the solution to things but a doorway to making matters even worse.

I like the idea of being able to practice my own religion without fear of persecution, without another faith impressing their terminology upon me and later pushing all of their practices right down my throat, but thats where we are headed as things stand now. So I beg any Christians, Catholics, hell even my fellow pagans to stand up and be counted among those who will not bow down to another faith that seeks to force itself upon all people of other beliefs.
